Departing twice daily at 10am (year-round) & 2pm (October-March) from our Waitangi Beach Base.
Paddle up the sheltered waters of the Waitangi inlet, through the fascinating mangrove forest and up to the unique horseshoe-shaped Haruru waterfall. You get to stop and enjoy refreshments with a view of the waterfall and the opportunity for a refreshing swim, before making your way back down the Inlet to the Beach Base.
You will get to experience the unique horseshoe-shaped Haruru Waterfall, enchanting mangrove forests, and be able to enjoy interesting and diverse wildlife in their natural habitats.
Your guide will share with you the rich local history and Māori legends. They will also be taking photos of your experience on the tour, which will be available online in high resolution for you to download, at no extra cost.
This tour takes approximately 3hrs and is suitable for beginners through to experienced paddlers.
Includes: Complimentary local pick-up/drop-off service, light refreshments, tour photos and free use of our sunscreen, dry bags and water pistols.
