Departing daily at 9am & 1pm (year-round) 3pm (November-February) from our Waitangi Beach Base.
Starting at our Beach Base, you walk up the Haruru Falls Walking Track (unguided) through beautiful native bush, over bridges and along a boardwalk through the mangrove forest. This track is 5kms long and takes under 2hrs. Your guide will meet you at the end of the track and take you for an adventurous paddle from the base of the falls down the historic Waitangi inlet back to our Beach Base.
You will get to experience the unique horseshoe-shaped Haruru Waterfall, enchanting mangrove forests, and be able to enjoy interesting and diverse wildlife in their natural habitats.
Your guide will share with you the rich local history and Māori legends. They will also be taking photos of your experience on the tour, which will be available online in high resolution for you to download, at no extra cost.
This tour takes approximately 3.5hrs and is suitable for beginners through to experienced paddlers. The walking track requires a medium level of fitness.
