Hi I’m Dora, hi I’m Chad and we are so lucky to have grown up in beautiful Aotearoa and we are very proud of our Maori culture.

We have both been in the tourism industry most of our lives and love our mahi (work) as we get to show off our slice of paradise to the world.

The Coastal Kayakers Team have strong beliefs that we are Kaitiakitanga (guardians) of the land until the next generation and it is our duty to ensure we look after it while it’s in our care.

We pride ourselves on Manaakitanga (hosting), this is what the Maori people have been doing since the first visitors starting coming here, we look after you while you are with us and also help you on where you are going to eat, sleep and help plan your next adventure.

We are passionate about the community, environment and wildlife and help out local organisations when and where we can, below is a few of the organisations we are part of, feel free to check them out, follow them on social media and give a koha (donation) if you are in a position to do so.
